Why Physical Letters?
Physical letters are taken far more seriously than electronic communications, because they require slightly more effort. This is why we ask you to express your demands in the old-fashioned way. That will get their attention much more forcefully.
We can build towers of letters on their desks, a tangible monument to their failure.
Write Your Own Words
We don't want to put words in your mouth – so we offer no sample letter for your elected representatives. We'd ask you to simply spend a few minutes expressing, in your own words, why you're demanding they impeach and remove Trump from office.
We'd like you to recover your own voice, and raise it in defense of your nation. It is important to make them feel not only our numbers, but our firm and resolute passion. And to give them a sense of the true diversity of the American patriots who are assembling, peaceably, with this simple, legitimate, and necessary demand.
A Note on AI
For the same reason, we exhort you not to use generative AI to write your letter. To check your grammar and spelling? Great! To express your sentiments? Never.
It's fine to do this over and over again, and better yet if you write a new letter each time. It feels good, in fact.
